9-12 Portfolio Expectations

Introduction

After completing four years in the IBT program at Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary School, students will have had experiences and obtained skills above and beyond the requirements to be granted their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Students will obtain their IBT certificate upon satisfying their course requirements and completion of the International Business and Technology Graduation Portfolio requirement.

The E-Portfolio Model:

All graduates of IBT are required to develop and maintain a portfolio which demonstrates their competencies in 21st Century Skills. Students will select the work they want to include and will be expected to retain ownership of their portfolio. Academic work selected by the students will already have been evaluated. The portfolio and the portfolio process will be monitored. The portfolio will help students to focus on the skills they have upon graduation, to document their achievements and to set goals for the future.

Format:

The e-Portfolio must be either a PowerPoint presentation, or a Dreamweaver web design. The compiled portfolio needs to be submitted online by following the link on the right side bar or clicking here
